2023 Round Up
Another year gone by, another end of year round up, and what a year 2023 has been! A busy studio filled with work, creativity and laughter. There’s a real feeling of achievement and pride when we look back at all of the projects we’ve been involved in over the last 12 months.
We kicked off the year by unveiling the new BryceMennell brand – something we’d been excited to launch in the weeks leading up to the end of 2022. As with any rebranding process, the team reflected on what it means to be a part of BM, what we represent, the type of work we produce and where we want to sit within the local creative market. We pride ourselves on being a down-to-earth, honest and tight-knit professional team, who always strive to go beyond in order to produce unique, creative solutions for our clients. We may be small but we want to blow you away with our big ideas and bright minds! Our new identity delivers this message, with an understated yet unique logo design, tasteful use of typography and a dynamic colour palette.
Anyway, that’s enough about us. 2023 has seen us busy at work with our loyal and returning clients across a wide range of creative projects, including branding and nation-wide campaign roll outs, print and digital advertising, animation, web and e-commerce, point of sale design and so much more. Some particular highlights include:
- • Creating the nation-wide ‘Sustainability and Community’ campaign for British Land. A project that highlights the economical efforts and local work of shopping centres and retail parks across the BL portfolio.
- • Branding the ‘Summer Beach Club’ at Meadowhall. A sandy beach with theme park, aqua park, street food vendors and entertainment throughout all the summer months.
- • Continuing to support our good friends at the RSPCA Hull and East Riding with their Cottingham and Clough Road branch refits – including new fascia signage, point of sale graphics and large scale reception area timeline.
- • Working alongside Meadowhall and pop star Self Esteem in recreating her famous Meadowhall domes outfit from Glastonbury. The design was applied to t-shirts which were displayed and sold in-centre, with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Now!
It’s also been a huge pleasure to connect with new clients and build fresh relationships with some prestigious businesses both locally and further afield. We can’t wait to reveal and help to establish two massive new brands which we’ve been hard at work on this year…keep your eyes peeled.
Finally, as the festive season arrived (and we’d completed the wonderful mass of Christmas retail work that had kept us busy all summer and autumn), we enjoyed our annual BM Christmas do, featuring some seriously competitive games of bowling and darts, drinking, and getting stuck into delicious Italian food. We know how to party…
With projects already brewing and big brands to launch, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for us in 2024. Follow us on social and follow the journey!
