2024 Roundup
Another lap around the sun, and it’s that time of the year again! 2024 has been a busy year with lots going on in the studio, making it difficult to condense into a 600-word roundup blog, but we’ll give it a good go!
Throughout 2024, we have been incredibly grateful to continue working with many loyal and returning clients. These projects have ranged from nationwide campaign roll-outs to branding, digital and print advertising, animation, web design, point-of-sale design and everything in-between! A few notable highlights include:
- • Developing concepts and building on the creative for British Land’s ongoing lead campaign for their shopping centres and retail parks; including working on the year-round national roll-out, and establishing new visuals for the 2024 Christmas advertising campaign, which we rolled out across multiple platforms and types of digital and print.
- • Striking up a brilliant working relationship with the guys at award-winning local event space, Jubilee Central. The team approached us to assist in the process of growing the business and increasing brand visibility. From reviewing brand consistency with existing elements, to creating a new look and feel for the brand, we have delivered various assets to bring everything in line, including a venue spec document for event organisers, hoarding graphics to promote the renovation work on the high street, and updated website visuals. We’ll be spilling the tea on what’s next very soon!
- • Rebranding Waterside Shopping Centre in Lincoln, alongside our client Wykeland. After establishing and reinventing the identity of the brand and tone of voice, we set to work rolling out all of the external fascia and in-centre wayfinding signage, before supplying clear brand guidelines for their design team to run with.
- • Finalising the website for our long-time collaborator and friend of BM, James Ash, who approached us to help design and develop a brand and website to promote his new venture as a life coach. It’s always a fun process working with James, as he’s as enthusiastic about design as we are. James’s brand is confident, bold, dynamic and vibrant, which we ensured to mirror within his designs.
- • Assisting another coaching client, Bhavn Khaira, who has recently transitioned her career in the corporate sector to a more personal one-to-one setting. We were incredibly inspired by Bhavn’s story and the motivation behind her decision to move in a direction that helps others to find their inner strength. Working on Bhavn’s brand has been an insightful journey and we look forward to seeing how her brand flourishes.
- • Continuing our work with our good friends at RSPCA Hull and East Riding branch CIO, including reimagining the charity shop storefronts across the city, and helping to celebrate their 200th year anniversary with assistance on event creative and materials – what an incredible achievement for a truly remarkable charity!
- • Designing Ginger’s Ice Cream Cart – an absolute dream of a project! Working in collaboration with Urban Tricycles, we created a portable gelato trailer featuring the iconic Ginger’s branding – a wonderful addition to any event (who doesn’t love ice cream?!)
To all the clients we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with this year, thank you! We truly appreciate each and every relationship and are committed to creating exceptional work for all of you. Your continued trust and confidence mean the world to us.
With the festive season upon us, we couldn’t end the year without mentioning the annual BM Christmas do! This year consisted of a few rounds of interactive darts, a good few more rounds of drinks and a festive feast hosted by the folks at Hearth.
2024 has been a bit of a whirlwind, so now it’s time to wind down, rest, recuperate and enjoy the festive season. We’ll see you in 2025!
