Let’s get to know…Antonia Stark
Who or what is your main influence?
My dad is my main influence and has always taught me that if you work hard you’ll get a lot out of life. Anything that makes me happy is an influence in my daily life. I’m a firm believer you should distance yourself from anything that makes you feel rubbish.
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Organised, creative, fidgety
What’s your favourite thing about your job?
I know it sounds the typical thing to say but the team is definitely the best thing, a small bunch of genuinely great people. Dan’s playlist deserves a special mention too. It’s almost identical to mine and you know there’s going to be good tunes when he puts the music on.
What’s your biggest pet-peeve?
People who talk at gigs, I’ve paid to watch the band so I don’t want to listen to someone moaning about the price of their pint!
If you could try any other profession, what would it be?
I’ve always wanted to be a prison officer but never had the guts.
If there was a book written about your life, what would the title be and why?
Stop The Clocks, aptly named after the Oasis album. I’ve always had a consuming fear that time is running away and I’m not where I should be or experiencing life as much as I could be.
If you could give your teenage self some advice, what would it be?
Don’t put excessive pressure on yourself, it’s really not worth it.
Where would you consider to be your happy place?
At a gig with a pint in my hand watching live music – literally nothing better.
Do you have a hidden talent?
People have always commented on my neatness and handwriting. Not sure it’s a talent but it’s something people have always made a big deal about but it comes quite natural to me.
What book you’re reading? Music you’re listening to? TV you’re binging?
Book: Anthony Kiedis – Scar Tissue
Music: Jamie T – The Theory of Whatever
TV: Currently making my way through all the Jackass movies… for like the 100th time!
What’s your guilty pleasure?
A game of bingo… I’m 24 going on 74!
Spirit animal?
A cat – I’m independent, like my own company and most of my life revolves around food and what I’ll be eating.
