Even life coaches need a little support sometimes, so our client approached us to help create a logo design and brand identity for her new coaching business. Bhavn Khaira is a life coach whose focus is on providing one-to-one sessions with people from all different backgrounds and circumstances. As a woman of Indian descent and a working mother of two, Bhavn’s personal and professional experiences have helped mould her into the life coach she is today.

Our aim was to create a logo design and brand identity for Bhavn which was friendly, professional and appealing to her business’s client market.

Typographically, the brand utilises the serif font ‘Gelica’, which is a friendly, versatile and legible typeface. The brandmark uses the letterform of an uppercase ‘B’ and breaks the traditional shape by introducing speech marks. In terms of the brand colours, clay and cream are the primary options but it was important to provide a secondary palette which expanded and complimented the brand.

The theme of ‘speaking’ and ‘chat’ is present throughout the brand identity as it is the most important tool when it comes to self-improvement and bettering one’s mental health. The Tone of Voice is conversational yet empowering, utilising simple turns of phrase and impactful word choices to create a resonance with the audience.
