A LOCAL BREWERY THAT WANTED TO MAKE ITS
LINKS WITH OUR CITY AND COUNTY AS CLEAR AS DAY
Founded in 2017, during Hull’s year as the UK City of Culture, we were asked to create a brand that immediately reflects the brewery’s roots and personality. This included us getting to name its first offerings, which really stand out on bars – after all, it’s not every day you come across a beer announcing “EY UP” or “REET” in such a forthright fashion.

DOFFING ITS FLAT CAP
The brand that we created alludes to certain Yorkshire characteristics. Namely, no-nonsense, straight to the point and always up for a laugh, with an old school, traditional feel that would still be bold and recognisable.
